Successful Data Centre Migration at Allianz Hungária

As the project is highly complex, Allianz was looking for partners capable of offering IT and telecommunications solutions, if required, even across borders. As a full-scale ICT service provider and due to its stable international background, T-Systems Hungary perfectly met these expectations. During the 2013 planning and implementation phases of the project made in preparation for the migration of the Allianz Group’s Eastern and Central European regional data centres, T-Systems Hungary as a member of the Deutsche Telekom Group and a key partner to both Cisco and EMC, performed a constructive specialist job and participated in the transfer of the Allianz data centres accomplished on schedule. The applied IT competences represent state-of-the-art products and solutions, and provide Allianz with a forward-looking IT background.

In relation to the Hungarian company’s successful data centre migration, Deputy CEO of Allianz Hungária István Végh said: “Thanks to the solid expertly work done by T-Systems Hungary and the suppliers involved in the project, transition was smooth and easy, and the infrastructure change was practically unnoticed by external and internal users. Allianz made another successful step in the process of digital switch-over based on a professional technological background in order to ensure client background systems to satisfy demand by its customers, partners and staff members at an even higher standard.

Chief Executive Officer of T-Systems Hungary Tibor Rékasi attributed the success of the project to the exemplary professional cooperation between Allianz, T-Systems Hungary, the international T-Systems Group, and the buyers and suppliers who participated in the project. “Allianz’s commitment enabled the highest standard implementation of the data centre migration”, Tibor Rékasi pointed out. The chief executive officer said: “T-Systems Hungary is convinced that this project will improve Allianz’s competitiveness, as this migration will help reduce its costs considerably, while its data will be stored under more secure conditions and with a higher standard maintenance.” He added: “The data centre that has been implemented provides an appropriate and reliable infrastructure for Allianz.” Tibor Rékasi also explained: “The integrated T-Systems Hungary focuses on a more intensive international presence, and the Allianz project is a milestone in this process.”
